Our Dentists

Dr. Philomena Gale, BSc, DMD (General Dentist)

Dr. Gale was born in Brunei Darussalam where she lived for 16 years. She spent a couple of years in Singapore while completing her “A” levels under the ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) scholarship. In 1989, Dr.Gale and her family immigrated to Canada and settled in the suburbs of Surrey, British Columbia. She attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1993, and her Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Kinesiology in 1994. She graduated from the UBC Faculty of Dentistry in 1998, and practiced in Vernon and Fort Langley prior to moving to Revelstoke in 2005. Her husband, Graham, teaches at Revelstoke Senior Secondary, and they have 3 active children who keep them very busy. This dental office is a dream realized for her, and she feels very privileged and proud to be able to offer such a well-equipped facility to the community she now considers home.

Dr. Brian K Broadwell, DDS, MBA, FAGD, FICOI, FACP, FRCD(C) (Orthodontist)

Dr. Broadwell was born in Louisiana, grew up in Wyoming, and now lives and runs a very busy Orthodontic practice in Salmon Arm. He travels to Revelstoke once a month to offer orthodontic services to our patients. Dr. Broadwell completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University, then attended dental school at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He went on to do a combined Prosthodontics and Orthodontics specialty program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is one of only 13 dual-certified orthodontist/prosthodontists in the United States. He has 2 young children, and in his free time, he is an avid alpine skier, and also enjoys biking, hiking and wakeboarding at the lake. We are truly fortunate to be able to work with Dr. Broadwell.

Our Team

Felicia Woodbridge, CDA

Felicia joined our team in 2014 right after graduating top of her class from the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, where she completed her CDA training. In fact, she did her practicum with us while she was in school. We loved her so much, we kept her! Prior to this, Felicia went to Eagle River Secondary in Sicamous. Felicia is an excellent clinician with a gentle touch. She takes pride in her work, and she is always striving to learn. Felicia has completed her Orthodontic Module through Okanagan College in Kelowna. In her free time, Felicia enjoys going for walks, crochet & knitting, volleyball and basketball.

Danielle Bryck, Hygienist

Danielle was born and raised here in Revelstoke. After high school, Danielle started her career in the dental field by completing her Certificate in Dental Assisting at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Calgary in 2004. She worked as a CDA in Calgary for a couple of years before deciding to further advance her dental education. She enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in Toronto. Since graduating in 2007, she has worked in Salmon Arm and Chase before returning home to help launch this practice. Danielle is a careful and gentle clinician who takes pride in the quality of her care, and she places great emphasis in maintaining a clean and safe environment for her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, biking and going to the gym.
